MEET LORI
Strategy has always been part of the work.
Pillar + Presence was founded by Lori Gutierrez, a healthcare operations leader, strategist, and communicator with more than a decade of experience working inside complex organizations.
Her career didn’t begin in marketing. It began in operations.
That meant learning how to understand complicated systems, identify what wasn’t working, bring people around a common direction, communicate across different audiences, use data to make better decisions, and turn ideas into something people could actually execute.
Over time, those same skills became connected to another kind of work: helping organizations tell their story.
Through leadership communications, professional association work, digital strategy, content development, brand building, and hands-on experimentation, a pattern emerged.
The strongest digital presence doesn’t begin with a posting schedule. It begins with understanding what you’re trying to accomplish.
That idea became Pillar + Presence.
