Pillar + Presence respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through pillarandpresence.com, why we collect it, the services involved in processing it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you submit the Start a Conversation form, we collect your name, organization, email address, message, and the date and time of submission.
Please do not include sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information that is not necessary for your inquiry.
How we use contact information
We use information submitted through the contact form to receive and review your inquiry, respond to you, discuss services or a possible business relationship, maintain appropriate business and communication records, and protect the website or investigate technical and security issues.
Contact-form submissions are not automatically added to a marketing email list. If we offer marketing communications in the future, we will request any consent required by applicable law.
How contact inquiries are processed
Contact-form inquiries are first stored in a Cloudflare D1 database used by this website. Cloudflare states that D1 data is encrypted at rest and protected in transit. The database’s specific storage jurisdiction has not been independently confirmed, and this policy does not represent that the data is stored in any particular country or region.
After an inquiry is successfully stored, the website uses Resend to send a transactional notification to the Pillar + Presence business inbox. That notification contains the submitted name, organization, email address, message, and submission timestamp. Resend processes the notification content and related delivery information under its own service terms and retention practices.
The notification is delivered to hello@pillarandpresence.com, a Google Workspace inbox. Google Workspace therefore processes and stores a copy of the email under the account’s settings and Google’s applicable terms.
The website also maintains limited technical delivery information, such as notification status, attempt count, provider message ID, and sanitized error codes. This information helps diagnose failed notifications without unnecessarily duplicating inquiry content in application logs.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, or GA4, to understand how people find and use the website. GA4 may collect information such as the pages visited, referring website or campaign, general device and browser details, approximate location, engagement time, scrolling, and interactions with the Start a Conversation form. We do not intentionally send the name, organization, email address, or message entered into the contact form to GA4.
GA4 currently retains event-level data associated with identifiers for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The user-data period may restart when that user returns. These settings do not control most aggregated standard reports.
Google Signals and user-provided data collection are off, Google products and services data sharing is off, and the property is not linked to Google Ads. Limited account settings for aggregated modeling and business insights, technical support, and business recommendations remain on. The property currently permits ads personalization if advertising integrations are activated later. We will review this policy before making a material change to those uses.
GA4 may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish browsers and sessions. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and may use Google’s available Analytics opt-out tools.
How information is shared
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the website, communicate about inquiries, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or complete a business transaction involving Pillar + Presence.
Service providers presently involved include Cloudflare for website hosting and database storage, Resend for transactional notification delivery, Google Workspace for receiving and managing inquiry emails, and Google Analytics for website measurement. These providers process information under their respective terms and privacy practices.
We do not use contact-form submissions to create advertising audiences. We are continuing to review the terminology and configuration required before making a broader legal statement about the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under every applicable privacy law.
Data retention
Pillar + Presence has not yet adopted a fixed deletion period for contact inquiries or corresponding Google Workspace notifications. We retain these records while reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, protect the website, and meet legal obligations. We are developing a documented retention process and will update this policy when a specific, enforceable schedule is adopted.
Third-party providers apply their own retention periods to information processed through their services. Their current practices are described in their applicable privacy, security, and service documentation.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. These include protected server-side credentials, encrypted connections, restricted access, and avoiding personal inquiry content in application error logs.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. To make a privacy request, email hello@pillarandpresence.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

The website may link to third-party websites, including LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the services supporting the website change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
